About Dr. Kupiec
Dr. Karson Kupiec is a second-generation orthodontist who will make you feel confident you are receiving the highest level of care available. He received his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. While there, he presented numerous research projects to the International Association of Dental Research and has several research projects published in professional journals. Dr. Kupiec was in the top 10 percent of his class during each of his four years in dental school.
Dr. Kupiec was a sought-after applicant for the specialty of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and was offered several interviews. Dr. Kupiec completed his residency in orthodontics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. During his orthodontic training, he simultaneously completed and received his master’s degree in Biology.
Dr. Kupiec maintains solo private practices in El Centro and in Encinitas near San Diego. He is the president of the Imperial Valley Dental Society and is an active member in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, California Dental Association and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Kupiec also devotes several weeks a year to dental missionary trips around the world and sponsors the sports program at the Encinitas YMCA. Additionally, he lectures in the community to local businesses and schools on orthodontics.
In his free time, Dr. Kupiec enjoys flying, camping, outdoor sports, hunting and fly-fishing.
